How much weight should you lose after gastric sleeve surgery? Especially in the beginning?

Hi Meena 🙂 our data shows that someone who has just had a sleeve gastrectomy is likely to lose around 1 stone (6kg) per month for the first 3 months post-op. It is very dependent on the persons start weight but that is the average. Someone who has a higher start weight and therefore more to lose may lose weight slightly quicker than this, whereas someone who had less to lose may lose slightly less than this each month.
